Had considered this vs. Echo gas for days. Went in the store this morning and this offer (starting today) sealed it. Battery was next to blower at $129, and it came off at checkout with no coupon. The included 2.5A looks identical to free 2A battery, so I wonder if they are getting rid of old stock to make room for new label. Better hurry cause there was not too many left in stock...

Used the blower today and it compares well to my Stihl BG55 that suddenly will not start after 10 years - you just have to use the turbo all the time to match power. Feels a little heavier but balanced; I never ran out of juice on my 1/4 acre clearing grass clippings. I guess you can use it indoors if needed...

With one gas powered tool dead, and the others pretty old I upgraded my mower, blower, trimmer, and chainsaw to Ego products this summer. I was really hesitant about these stacking up to my gas powered stuff and was ready to return if they didn't but they do extremely well. I'd highly recommend EGo and if you have multiple products all you need is at least 2 batteries and you always have one charged for any tool since it's all interchangeable. Really cool system. I surely don't miss all the gas and oil.

This blower is awesome! II'm going to sell my backpack blower since this is just about as powerful (Husqvarna 150BT). Also have the 15" trimmer and 14" chainsaw and wish I switched years ago.

One of the review says it didn't come with extra battery. Is this true?

"The down side of these products is expensive batteries cost but since there was a promotion for + one extra free battery and I was in. The order came in with no extra free battery as it advertised. So not happy and returned the product."

I called the store and they said this is online only. The only problem is online is for $199.
Any advice will be appreciated! Thanks

To be fair to HD, Neal sounds like a dumbass.

How is online being $199 and in store also being $199 a problem? The real problem, at least for me is that these don't have a vacuum option. Almost none of the battery powered ones do. Frown

I am starting to migrate my lawn tools to electric too. I got trimmer/edger and blower for less than $200. The brand system that i got into is Ryobi 40V tools [homedepot.com]

Welp, that just ruined my image of falling backwards when powering it on, and huge divots of grass being blown all over my yard....

I wanted to find out where the good worms were for fishing!

530 mph... that's pretty darn close to the speed of sound @ 768 mph. I wonder what happens if you hook up both batteries at the same time?
Chernobyl maybe?

I suspect Kim Jong-un is buying these up right now... better order quick.

That's a dumb customer. If you don't get what you asked for contact the company.

This comes with a battery in the box and the 2nd battery will be in a separate non-retail package.

If you buy in store you can return the battery for about $75 using the receipt (unless they changed the deal which I doubt). You cannot do this is you buy online.
