Should show $1.00 as the price below. To be honest my dad hasn't smoked the cigars from the order I got last time when this was on the Front Page, but $1 for 5 cigars seems pretty cheap.

Despite ordering from the last Front Page deal, I was able to order this $1 pack once again. I noticed that while being the same exact product, it has a different product page this time around, with #p-227449 [cigarsinternational.com], while the last FP deal had a product page ending in #p-222450 [cigarsinternational.com]

We'll see how it goes, but hopefully everyone can get some more cheap cigars.

So far I've received order confirmation.

Buy a Boveda brand humidity control pack. Its a brown bag looking pouch that has a range of different relative humidities (RHs) to choose from, from 84% for seasoning a new/dry wooden humidor to 60% or so for long term storage, it's 2 way humidity control: if the humidity in your is lower than the RH on the packet, it will raise the humidity, if its higher it will absorb moisture and lower it.

unless - and IMO even if - you plan to make a long term hobby of cigars, a wooden humidor is quite an undertaking for a beginner, it must be seasoned (a 1-2 week process of bringing the humidity of the wood to about 70% (70/70 is a good rule of thumb for storage: 70% RH at 70°F. Most people prefer the way a cigar smokes at a little less than 70%, so take it out and put it in a paper bag or something else for a bit to dry out a little if you find its hard to light, or keep lit)

I have about 70 cigars right now, and I keep them all in a large Tupperware-type container. this is commonly known as a tupperdor, coolerdors and wine-a-dors (using wine coolers) and just about any other *dor you can imagine. I prefer plastic Tupperware containers because they are airtight, and cheap. I have mine lined with the cedar sheets and blocks that come in cigar boxes which I got at a local cigar shop, these help regulate humidity especially if there aren't many cigars to do so. it also gives it that distinctive humidor smell - just be sure to use Spanish cedar. (just go in and ask, most places will have plenty and gladly give you some. if they are generous, be sure to buy something there Smilie.

if you just want to keep this 5 pack fresh and don't plan on adding more cigars to your collection future, a small sandwich size Tupperware/gladware/dollar store plastic container should be fine.

when I have gifted a "starter pack" to friends who showed interest, I usually give them one of those twist top cylindrical containers. if you use a Tupperware you don't really want it 100% airtight. if it is, make sure you're "burping" it once a week or so to let it breathe. my tupperdor has three small holes drilled in the lid and I use a piece of tape to keep as many of them covered as is needed depending on the weather.

supplies : Tupperware the cigars will fit in (here's the twist top type I mentioned http://www.smartstuff.se/media/twistnloc.jpg) a mason jar works or (more conveniently) one of those jars with the clamps on the lid

https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00GX47820/ this $5 boveda pack will keep a container that will fit up to 50 or 60 cigars - based on the entire size not just what's full - at 72% for a few months. for a smaller container, you can get a 10 pack of 8gram (vs 60gram above) packs for about $12. a couple will last a long time and fit better.

if you can't find a cigar shop that will give you some cedar sheets/chunks its not a huge deal but if you want you can buy small pieces of Spanish cedar on eBay pretty cheap, just cut a few pieces to fit - again, Spanish cedar only.

you can also just double or triple bag them with a boveda or even a cheaper "water pillow" and they'll be fine for a while, the tupperdor is just a great flexible way to keep cigars from a 5 pack to hundreds and its easy to have it grow with your collection if you end up enjoying the hobby.

Attached some screenshots. Last time during the other FP, some people had to use the 5FOR1 coupon code to get it to work, so maybe try that? Also might try using icognito, as it may be a cookie issue.

Same here, but I figure it's worth a shot. As I mentioned, I got order confirmation using the same account I did last time. I checked out via Paypal though, just like I did last time. It's a different product page, so that may be why the order went through.

Also looking at my order history:

You'll notice they added a little tilde "~" at the end of the newest order that's still in stock, to designate that it's a different item. Not saying it's going to ship, but it is different in their system for some reason.

And I'm sorry to hear that it's coming up as $40 for so many people. I remember the last deal had issues where it was intermittent, but I can't imagine they're getting hammered yet like they were last time.

Edit: I updated it as a YMMV deal for the time being.

Fixed it. Was missing some sort of code on the end of the URL, probably from their newsletter. Try now.
