This deal is back, this time price is $28.99 - $5 instant coupon = $23.99 so probably lowest ever for this well reviewed light. Saw this in the Alhambra, CA Costco this morning. BTW, never go here on the Friday before a 3 day weekend!

"Snap-On Officially Licensed Product" just means that it is another piece of Chinese junk that someone paid a royalty to Snap-On in order to generate extra sales by capitalizing on the name. Snap-On is shooting themselves in the foot by allowing their name to be used on such products for short term profit.

well... that won't matter much longer, since the company will be bought by an investment arm of a giant Chinese life insurance company.
in case anyone hasn't noticed, a lot of American business are be purchased by Chinese companies. (even the historic Waldorf Astoria Hotel in New York is now Chinese)
I have owned this light for over a year and it produces awesome true white light with no yellow hue. It generates practically no heat, has an adjustable base, and nice cushioned handle.

so far i have not found any junk carrying the name. qc standards seem to be in effect regardless
blue point is where a lot of junk now is. most the hand tools are no better than gearwrench and cost 3x as much
I have two of these and they are pretty nice. Easily 2000 lumens. Found out about them on Garage Journal and most have the same high opinion of them. Also got the matching Craftsman worklight stands to mount them on.
I also have one of these.. Great for working on cars and has survived a handful of hood high drops! It does get warm but not nearly as hot as the non led equivalent. Considering picking up another.

Usually the concern is for cool (blue) color temperatures with modern leds. Yellow light is of concern with incandescent bulbs in lights now typically considered obsolete.

You know Blue Point is part of Snap On? Also what is wrong with Gearwrench? I've bought tools off the Matco truck and found were made by Gearwrench.
