The specs on their site [hihonor.com] say:
LTE FDD: B2/B4/B5/B12/B17; WCDMA: B1/B2/B4/B5; GSM:850/900/1800/1900MHz

I think the only band missing is 1700MHz then, but would that matter if it has 700MHz Band 12?

Band 4 LTE is 1700/2100 (combined). The main issue is that the phone does not support VoLTE, which means in band 12 only areas you can't make standard phone calls or send/receive text messages. This isn't an issue in most bigger cities but makes a big difference for more rural areas and inside buildings with poor signal reach.

band 12 is actually disabled when on the tmobile network (due to what you mentioned the lack of VoLTE) its a safety feature, im sure they dont want to get sued because someone isnt able to make a 911 call. with band 12 disabled the phone can connect to a different band in emergencies.

also no wifi calling on tmobile network.

but like i said above, i really like this phone and would own it already if it had working band 12 and wifi calling on tmo network

Nexus 6/5X/6P (U.S. variants) have proper CDMA support. This isn't a Nexus. The only other devices are the Moto X Pure Edition and Moto G/Plus 4th generation.
