This is not a bad deal if you need the 3.5" adapter. Not the fastest SSD or best $:GB ratio. 120GB can also fill up fast.

I'd still suggest someone looking for a boot drive to get a 240GB TLC economy SSD on sale for similar cost.

If best performance is concern, spend more to get a different drive.

i needed 120gb ssd asap bought kingston uv400 for $32 after tax at microcenter. if you have mc nearby $5 rmn coupon still good.

The Vector drives are some of the most reliable SSDs right now. Before, it used to be Crucial, Samsung and Plextor. While the OCZ vertex IIs were discounted hard and died really fast. the brand was eventually bought by toshiba and now these Vectors use toshiba memory which work really well and last very long. Currently, Crucials and Plextors aren't very good. Samsung sort of has a near monopoly on the SSD market and the demand for 3D Nand has gone up considerably so prices are sky high for Samsung SSDs.

I do not know how to feel about the fact that I got Vector 180 960 GB for $167.83 three days ago.
