I don't think anyone should wait until Thanksgiving as this is a 2015 model for an excellent price. I bought this when it was $3999 around March 2016. Black Friday will have 2016 (K series) models to sell. Just remember the 2015 J Series have 3D but no HDR, whereas 2016 K Series don't have 3D, but have HDR.

I can't imagine getting a 75" TV without HDR. Seems crazy.

Plan on buying another remote control. The remote this TV comes with is horrific. Solid black in color, you can't see a thing in the dark, no back lighting, you better not like watching it in bed!

the Ju7100 models have hdr, but the tv apps don't. Amazon and netflix use two different kinds of hdr and won't work until samsung updates the tizen software and that seems..unlikely but who knows. Get an external 4k box with the netflix/amazon apps and that'll do. There's a thread on avsforum if you wanna look more into it.

If it's the same remote as my 40in ju7100, then you won't need to since its basically a wireless pointer. Just place thumb on the top button and wave it around to select stuff on the screen. The bottom part of the remote has buttons (u,d,l,r, select) if you don't like the pointer.

I've been debating getting this specific model over 2015 LG OLED(65EF9500). Does anyone who has this TV and has seen a OLED want to weigh in on black levels?

I bought a Samsung UN75F6400 75" in 2014. I have noticed there has been more clouding/ flashlighting since. I got a square trade warranty for 5 yrs from Costco. Anyone know if this is covered. It would be nice to get a new 4k tv. Thanks.

Could you use the new Xbox one apps to view HDR content on this TV?

There are two versions of this exact same tv. One made in Korea and the other licensed built in China. They have slightly different part numbers. So care it.
