I recently made a baby registry at Target and when I was scanning the items, especially the clearance items most came up significantly less than the ticket prices. When I checked out they looked on the registry phone and matched all the discounted prices. I got a ton of great deals but I guess it's ymmv.

Good set. We have used these for 2 babies. After using about 1 year we started having random disconnect problems. It beeps when disconnected and quickly reconnects ( a minute or two) so we have never missed anything. For us it seems it's worse for monitors farther away. I think it's a known problem based on reviews. VTech even replaced our set free but that one eventually demonstrated same issues. Still at the price and with 2 monitors I would buy again. We bought ours 4 years ago so hopefully this is better in newer models?

I have this one but only the single receiver and it works great. If little man is napping upstairs in his room I can go downstairs, out the back door, and into the pool about 40 feet behind the house and still hear him just fine. I can walk the dog down the cul de sac about 60 yards or so before it starts cutting out.

The loop is nice because if I'm in the garage I can hang it from a hook, if I'm in the yard I can put it on a carabiner on a belt loop, etc

Bought one of these about a year ago. Unfortunately, my unit loses connection almost every time I disconnect the parent unit from AC power and run on battery. It wasn't worth the hassle of going through warranty replacement for me, but I just thought I'd chime in as another user who has had disconnecting issues with this monitor.

I'm in for one. I have an IP camera that will handle the video when I want, but this audio unit will be awesome. Thank you for posting!

I had this exact model. Read reviews and many mentioned it was great but eventually quit working after a year or so. To keep it short, that's exactly what happened to me. Had connection issues (alert you with a tone and always in the middle of the night to wake you), tried everything and would work again off and on, good for days, then need to reconnect. Sometimes it reconnect on it's own (bleeps) but eventually it was a total failure. Nothing is worse than dealing with a bad monitor multiple times during the night. Baby is sleeping and I'm up screwing with the bleeping monitor! Oh, and eventually it wouldn't work unless it was actually plugged into an outlet so no good for carrying it around.

We eventually tossed it and just kept the doors open since they were close enough to here a cry. Made it max 18 month.

We had this set. It worked fine for audio, but the displays started crapping out after only a month or so (parts of the letters/numbers just stopped showing up). Unimpressed with the display, but hardly used that "feature" anyway. Also had the issues with the internal batteries being worthless after only a short time, so had to keep plugged in, but that wasn't a big deal for us.
