I bought this recently (still haven't received it) but I really wish this came in another color. Normally I wouldn't care but since this thing is gonna hang in my kitchen, the color really bothers me.

Still, reviews on this were solid and I need a mixed portable/stick vacuum.

I guess $190 with that flash $10 off code. I'm mad that I slept on it at $160. Must wait.

can anyone with the refurbished one comment on the battery life on these used machines? How are they holding up? Are you noticing more frequent charging?

No closet to hang it in? I think a vacuum of ANY color hanging in the kitchen would be ugly..

FEDEX just brought mine from the $160 sale, I think I ordered a week ago on Thursday. It seems NEW. At most someone bought and returned it right away, it still has some factory tape on it..

Well, I've got laminate flooring in my entire place (not my top choice for flooring but that's what the place came with) and I feel the need to sweep/vacuum nearly every other day, so I want to keep it out.

I just got mine today as well and it looks new, expect for the dust everywhere... in the canister, on all the accessories, etc.

The canister was completely clean when it arrived, but it's FULL now! Wink We've been nursing a cheap, old vac for a while now and it wasn't sucking up much I bet.. The manual was still sealed in a plastic bag with the 2 attachments it came with.. Seems like a GREAT purchase so far!

I didn't even get a manual with mine... and when I opened that empty canister, some plastic bit fell out.

But after using it, it seems to work fine and WOW... this beats sweeping my a landslide. It's so nice to use a vacuum without a cord too, very easy to maneuver and works fantastic!!

I'll just jump in for another +1. I received my $160 one on Wednesday, had to work a double so I didn't get a chance to set it up or anything until last night after work. I did mount mine in my kitchen because my closets don't have electrical outlets.. I put it in the corner so it's not terrible ugly, and quite easy to grab (although I'm not sure how long the mount will remain attached to the wall.. the drywall mounts I had were too small to function properly, so I had to use regular screws into, possibly, just drywall without any studs, because it was really the only place I could put it.. oh well, time will tell!).

I used it to vacuum up my 1,000 sq ft condo last night. I could not vacuum the entire place on a single charge (on regular power, not max). The charge died out after hitting two stair cases, the kitchen, living room, two hallways. I have one step to complete (the top step going upstairs), one hallway, and two bedrooms remaining.

I gotta say though, this thing definitely sucks. I had to empty the dust bin about half way through my cleaning and a second time when I was finished. The canister is definitely on the small side for storing debris.

My refurbished one was spotless, though. All packaged like new. No dents, dust, scratches, etc.. Manual was included, unopened. So far, I'm loving the convenience of it. The performance is pretty great, too. I can definitely see the battery being an issue down the road, and that will absolutely be the weak point for longevity, but the convenience of not having to worry about a cord is great. The thing feels really sturdy in general, too.
