Please. You actually expected Ruby Tuesday to give you free food at no cost? I know the thread is wholly misleading, but use your brain. Ruby Tuesday is the opposite of generous.

Pro-Tip #1: You get a Free Burger Coupon for your birthday with no additional purchase by signing up for their eClub.
You can even use RubyToGo for it to save on tip. Grin

Pro-Tip #2: The Birthday Burger does not mention anything on it about being for a birthday. It also does not generate an expiration date until you open it. Once you open it, it will expire approximately 2 weeks from that date. (I mention this because Ruby Tuesday's does send out targeted offers for Free Burgers to dormant members - so they wouldn't know the difference).

And lastly, yes, they actually did used to give out 100% Free Burgers with no additional purchase. Ah, the days when deals were better...
