Had 2 LG's go out on me in an unreasonable amount of time. The first tv's LEDs went out after 2 years, and the others screen went out after 8 days. I'll try my luck with a Toshiba at this point.

Beware of buying TOshiba TVs. I have a 3 yr old TV and they already stopped making parts for it despite being supposed to make them for 5 years.
I now have a 58 inch brick since the part cannot be found anywhere.

Right, it'll be $200 [bfads.net]. Now if only I knew whether it had hdmi 2.0 and if it was RGB or RGBW.

You know its a dirt cheap 4k panel, it may not even be a 60 hz 4k panel, it might be 1080@60, 4k@30hz panel. I'm guessing its not hdmi 2.0 either. That detail is no where to be found. My money's on RGBW too. You get RGB for higher than average cost and this is a dirt cheap one, even LG's normal 4k panels which are not 'Super' UHD are RGBW. It may not even have an even backlight if you are too picky. But Hey, but for 200$, it might be better than everything else at that price. even for 400$ its ok. from 450-500$ upwards you can get some decent TCL, Vizio 4k panels with mostly even backlighting and true 4k@60 hz.
