Don't be fooled by the looks. The wood finish you see is a wallpaper. If you accidentally stick a piece of tape and take it off, the wallpaper will come off and it'll look terrible. Just my 2c.

I assume that wooden Thomas The Train toys can be used with this brand?

I have a similar train set from Imaginarium from a few years ago. The train tracks, cars and engines are great and my kids still play with them. The table while good initially, fell apart after a 2-3 years.

I think for this price it is still a great deal. No reason to pay extra for Thomas branded trains.

Not sure why you'd be sticking tape anywhere near this?

For the price, it's great. Your kids will have hours of play. We have had ours for 6 months and my 1 and 3 year old play with it every single day still. They absolutely love it. Oh and ours doesn't have any "wallpaper" coming off. Maybe you have a defective set, or you should make sure your kids don't have access to tape!

Our kids use tape during their "arts and crafts" session, so tape can go anywhere.
I'm just surprised just how weak the fake wood print on these were.
A stray piece of scotch tape was all it took to get the wood print off.

Stores near me don't have in stock, and wont let me ship to store. Who cares if it's not in stock, I'm shipping it to you!

Not interested in shipping to home with the $20 surcharge.

It's not in stock at any store near me. Really extended the search radius to see if any store carried it. None do. So it's actually $20 more. From other people's comments, I see they're facing the same issue. Might as well update the post to reflect this or mark expired.
