Wierd, the code works for me and this is what I got in email. Wonder if the code I provided was only for emailed members?

Are you suggesting that they sent out unique codes out this time? Did anyone have success using my code?

The discount is 22% off BTW

I just have to keep repeating.... I WILL NOT pre-order this game...I WILL NOT pre-order this game...I WILL NOT pre-order this game...I WILL NOT pre-order this game...

Just hope I can stay strong. But I know Firaxis too well and Civ is usually a broken buggy mess at launch that takes years to patch up and fix gameplay with DLC that costs more money.

I should have learned my lesson with Civ V and Beyond Earth... both pre-orders from me and, well if you're browsing this thread you know how those turned out.

Maybe I'll just stick it in my Amazon wish list for Xmas.

All that aside, Amazon Prime pre-order price is similar, 47.99. It's a physical copy which I know is worthless in the grand scheme of things, but they usually include a skill tree map or something worth having.

same here, I loved IV and preordered V at full price. When it launched it was so slow even on a spec'd desktop that I just kept playing IV. Came back to V years later and it turned out to be a decent game once finished I guess.

Help me understand here guys, what code? There's nothing in the provided OP that indicates how one gets this discount.

I believe you can get the code by creating an account and signing up for their deals and promotions email.

I am signed up and did not receive an email. Additionally, while that might have been obvious to some, the OP gave zero indication as to how one was actually supposed to redeem this "coupon". -1

Too late. Already pre-ordered. Civ V was my first, but I bought it when it was on sale.
