Um...I think the Walmart one is the K400 that is regularly at this price. The K400 "PLUS" is usually around $29+

Reading through this thread offends me.

To half of the people asking inane questions, did you bother to click on the page and read the full description? No? What a surprise! Ask people to do something that you could have easily found out yourself in 10-20 seconds. Bluetooth? It tells you that it has a unifying receiver. Range? It tells you.

Then every page has at least one moron saying that this is the regular price. Really? Do you live in some fantastical world of make believe? If so, may I have the coordinates to there? It has been pointed out time and time again that this is not the regular price.

This happens in so many threads and I wish I could simply give people a ton of negative feedback so they could feel bad for asking dumb questions or stating obviously incorrect information which may coerce somebody's thinking. I don't post often because this is what would happen. There are a few of you who asked legit questions that weren't so obvious, and this rant wasn't intended for you.

To those offering feedback on their experiences, kudos. To the guy who talks about how the original sucks down batteries, how the F is that relevant to this conversation? You going back to corded? Great, bye. I have had this model for since February 2 of this year, haven't had to change the batteries, and I use it daily, some times quite a bit. Battery is fine. Ignore that person's post unless you are looking to buy the old model, in which case, why are you here again?

To the people who kindly answer everything, I have tried to give you all solid rep. Thank you for your kindness. This is a great device, highly recommended, especially for this price.
the "plus" have longer battery life, more shortcut keys, and smaller form factor.

Personally, I don't know. But the two are certainly not the same model. So to say that it's regular price at Walmart is not correct.

I agree, they moved the "plus" volume keys over the touchpad instead of on the F10-F12 keys and that's way better in my opinion. The first one I ever purchased had them close to the left mouse key and that was great then they moved them for other hot keys which are rarely used. This new styling is nearly perfect for an HTPC setup.

And the new styling is apparently cosmetically acceptable to my wife and sister although the old model isn't. Go figure. Just an FYI style tip to whom it may concern, ;-)

I have both. The plus is much nicer to type on, larger shift keys, better key location for volume, and just a slightly better build quality. Highly recommend the plus over the regular.
