Right now, the coupon has not been shown as active. Should be tomorrow.

Sorry for the crappy image.
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

Just want to pass along a word on Kroger pricing. Be very very careful with sale items/coupons/digital coupons. Kroger is a shitty company that plays the weekly pricing shenanigans like its no body's business. Check, double check and triple check your receipts. WHAT YOU SEE IS NOT WHAT GET. The pricing schemes are so deceptive, almost every receipt has an over prices/miss priced item.

If you buy the newspaper/single or double pack for the coupons - you can be sure you got screwed, because you never get the double coupons, as advertised, as some inserts are always missing. More of a newspaper supplier problem, which Kroger refuses to address.

Dont get me started on the meats. Know what you are buying and be sure where (country) it comes from. I think the entire "Simple Organic", Kroger line of 'organic' products, is an entire sham. Some of their products, which say has 100% organic ingredients, there aren't enough organic producers in the whole world, that can meet the supply of Kroger. Something is really fishy.

I know a lot of you like Kroger for the 'cheap gas', but remember for the points accrued, its only $35 per month, that you actually save. They are probably looting that amount from you every time you shop their. Not to mention Kroger gas is 'dirty' (high sulfur) as fark. Messes with the engine and reduces mileage.

I am all for savings and slickdeals - just exercise caution. WHAT YOU SEE IS NOT WHAT GET.

I can't tell if you have your own personal vendetta or a shill for some other grocery chain.

I can say that I shop Kroger 75% of the time, and I only purchase the sale items or those that I can stack for the $5 off 5 deals. I can't remember ever being cheated on valid discounts or sale prices.

Your comment on gas (only $35 per month redemption) is false. I regularly have 2000+ points accrued per month, and often get $35 off per fill-up every weekend during promotional periods. It's not a novel thing to bring both our vehicles and max out the savings. Year to date, I've saved over $500 in fuel rewards.

Given you lack of accuracy on the items I mentioned, its unlikely that there's any truth in your sulfur or meat allegations.

Move along, Pinnochio

Individual experiences vary. I didnt call you any names, so try to be polite if your capable of that.

Sure you are saving $35 per fill up, how is your mileage? How is your engine?
Just because you have lucked out doesn't mean they behave the same way. Just look at their recent produce recalls.

I used to be loyal Kroger customer too, until they started doing these shenanigans.

You can also use your gas discount at most Shell stations. Is this unacceptable gas also?

And since it's a grocery store purchase, a good number of cash back credit cards will give you more than the standard 1%.

It's funny that you post this. My wife and I just got back from City Market (Kroger). We were talking about how it seems every trip now they overcharge us for something....including one of our only three items today. That has become the norm for us. They also frequently don't have the "Free Friday Download" item on Friday, but then surprisingly have it a day or two later.
It's also not unusual to not get the 4x fuel points on eligible gift cards.

Its about to get a LOT LOT worse. Their privacy policy changed. It gives them the right to share/sell any customer data, granular to every item purchased and payment info and even drivers license data.

Its turning from a grocery store into a data mining company.

Prepare for more garbage junk mail and more spam email.

Where would they get your drivers license data?

Alcohol/Tobacco/Lotto purchases. You now have to show the license for scanning. Data is stored, per their new privacy policy.

No problems at Kroger and the gas savings is average $100 a month and about $50 in checks and $10-$25 in money off coupons per month via Kroger visa 123 rewards. To much savings , I also shop ingles or publix ( NO to Walmart ) but Kroger is the killer on deals hands down !

Only $35 per month, that you actually save? Not sure where your getting your wrong information, but for the longest time it has been per day for redeeming points for fuel discount, even though now, they may have even removed any limits. I'm not sure

I did eight last month, and I even did four in 1 day when gas was $1.88. last week
