Why so much negative voting? The other deal I can remember which comes closer to this one is the PowerSpec G313 Desktop from Micro Center. But that comes with Core i5-6600K, not Core i7.

I can only pick one of the freebies, not both of them.
The Power Spec deal had i5-6600k which is better than i7-6700 that this one offers.
The PSU isn't modular and it's going to be a loud one.

I'll pass on this one...

I've got one. I't's small and fast as hell, but that fan blows pretty loud!

G313 has no GC, no rebate, no need for extra freebies(actually waste your money on useless staff).
I prefer 6600K rather than 6700.
For price G313 provide 1000+tax comes around $1060
For price this one 1250-5%(coupon)-5%(discover amazon pay)-50 $1078

Similar price the thing left is about the service and tech support.

I am not able to understand one thing here, why people saying 6600K is better and because of having i7-6700, it is a bad deal. Did you guys read the whole post of mine? This is a completely configurable desktop and you can choose i5-6600k as well which will reduce the price around $70 bucks.

i5 is better in terms of your wallet and heat Stick Out Tongue . Otherwise stick with i7 Big Grin .

The i5-6600k is unlocked and therefore overclockable (signified by the "k" at the end of the model number.) The advantage of the i7 to i5's is hyperthreading.

Depending on how much the application takes advantage of hyperthreading, the i5 could be faster when overclocked.

he's probably talking about overclocking, its the only thing I can think of. Fwiw, the I5 6600k is pretty bad ass when pushed to its limits. he also mentioned a previous deal which was likely cheaper, but the rep said you could add the I5 and reduce cost by $70.
