Great portable wifi router.

Just insert my Freedompop Global SIM card and it works after the network profile setup.

The speed is about 7.5Mbps download and 2Mbps upload.

Also you can use it with several $1 SIM cards to get your internet for free. The SIM card slot size is full-size (Mini SIM card).

Enjoy!

I thought Freedompop doesn't allow people to put these Global SIM card in hotspots?
(unless it's a hotspot that you bought from Freedompop?)

Or has this changed?

Also... when you mentioned using several SIM cards... are you saying this hotspot
has more than 1 SIM card slot? I saw a dual-SIM-slot hotsport on Amazon for $79
but I wasn't sure what the point was.... but now I realized I can stick 2 Freedompop
SIMs inside... less hassle when switching. I currently have 27 Freedompop SIM cards
each with a different email address. (yes, I know... it's becoming an addiction... each
time they go on sale for 99 cents or less, I get a few more Frown )

Thanks! Smilie

I don't think they have any restriction on the GSM SIM cards. They have some restrictions on CDMA services due to Sprint.

The ZTE hotspot is $20 from Net10.

The data is $50 for 5gb in 60 days.
It will be super hot deal if the hotspot is unlocked.

It has one SIM card slot, but you can use as many SIM cards as you can.

Haha, you win. But I know all about that (harmless) addiction.

Don't see what's so good about this deal when you can get the freedompop hotspot for $30. And no, that's no the netgear one.
