there is absolutely nothing wrong with this light. There are only 1 or 2 solar light manufacturers in China that supply to all the companies and these companies put their labels and sell these lights under their own name. So Hallomall, ZEEFO and all the other ones are selling the same damn light. Enlarge the pictures and compare the lights side by side. Other than the logo/name you won't find any other difference(s).

And this would be one of those times where fake spot is wrong or at least wrong about helping you in a decision to purchase this item.

I bought this item, and its great! The LED light stays on all night and if it detects motion it will get brighter. This is a much cheaper alternative to leaving a porch light on all night long.

Yeah, IDK why this deal isn't getting any attention. The last time they were at this price, people were going crazy.

That's not what the listing says. Says it's off, not dim with no motion.

"AUTOMATIC: No Dim Light. The light features a PIR motion sensor that is activated when movement is detected within 3 m / 10ft. If no further movement is detected during 10 seconds, the light will shut off automatically in dark."

This is probably normal. But you can only get one at discount per order. Anyone know if they will cancel if I order a bunch in separate orders?

Which was not his question. Many solar panels, especially these amorphous ones, work in indirect sunlight.

I will say no, but it will be less than optimal. I have these lights, some of them around corners with no direct sun, and they still work. It comes down to this, these things use the solar panel as the light sensor as well. At some point, the ambient light will be so low that these lights will come on. Anything above that and they will be charging. Maybe not very well, but electrons will be flowing.
