Hey SD'ers!

This is my first post, sorry if its sub par.

Today is the final day to order Resident Evil 7: Biohazard Deluxe Edition for $79.99 before Capcom raises the price to $89.99. Capcom is adding extra DLC content to the Deluxe Edition, which is the reason for the price adjustment.

We've also got some exciting news about the Digital Deluxe version of the game available for pre-order on PSN for North America. While the Digital Deluxe edition previously offered the game and a season pass for two additional story episodes for $79.99 in North America, we'll be upgrading that version with an additional playable story episode to the mix starting tomorrow, and shifting the price to $89.99. If you've already pre-ordered the deluxe edition on the North American PS Store, there's nothing to worry about; your pre-order will be automatically upgraded at no additional charge. In addition, all pre-order customers of either the standard or deluxe versions will get a bunch of bonuses, such as the Survival Pack: Recovery Set. This set includes consumable healing items to help you endure the horrors that await (and don't worry, these consumables are available again each time you start a new game). Also included is a mysterious in-game Lucky Coin item, as well as access to the deviously difficult Madhouse mode, normally unlocked after completing the game once. On top of all that, all PS4 pre-orders on the PlayStation Store will instantly receive a dynamic theme for their PS4. So head over to PS Store and pre-order RE7 now!
If you purchase something through a post on our site, Slickdeals may get a small share of the sale.

I will preorder the regular version for $35 ($60 with $25 gift card) from Dell, when it shows up

You mean $60 and 7 phone calls and 4 e-mails to Dell for the $25 gift card.

At $90, no wonder they said no microtransactions!

Meet the Bakers!...in Virtual Reality! EGAD! https://mobile.twitter.com/RE_Gam...9528810496 Creepy arse vid.

Going to be my first RE game. Seeing as how I've yet to find the key in the demo(and not looking up spoilers...for the demo), I can't imagine how I'll be in this game in VR! The majority of what I've seen, so far, looks real as hell on a 2D screen!

VR is the main reason why I decided to buy the Deluxe Edition. I wanted as much story as I can get. Plus, I think the shock factor with this game would be excellent to introduce friends and family to VR Wink

Since there's no tax on this, this is actually a pretty good deal if you prefer digital content.

Given how awful a lot of single player focused DLC has been, and this being Capcom, seems like a wait and see approach would be best.

I'll take my chances and see how the game reviews first. Doesn't even feel like a resident evil game. Feels like a cheap VR knockoff.

Just saw on Reddit that the new/updated, or whatever, demo is available to download.

Also, it's odd how listings get moved that haven't expired.
