Brought a refurb M705 from Meritline a few years ago. Looked practically new and is still my daily driver to this day. If I didn't already have multiple backups, I'd probably hop on this deal.

I picked up a new one for about $50 with a bunch of boxed.com coupons/amex rebates, and it is an *ok* mouse. The forward/backward buttons are horribly misplaced. You really have to arch your thumb back to hit them. Not as ergonomic as the original MX Performance mouse, which can be had much cheaper now. I would love to trade this MX master for another MX Performance.

LISTEN TO THIS MAN!

I bought the MX Master and promptly returned it to Amazon. The forward/back buttons are atrociously placed.

The real kicker is this -- There's a CONFIRMED manufacturing defect that you WILL experience if you have the mouse long enough. ....AAaaannd guess what....

Warranty was reduced to 1 year.

Dang.. That was really quick. I bought two.. one for work and one for home. As far as the back and forward buttons are concerned, I feel like it's just gonna take time to get used to.

The manufacturing defect does have me worried. I saw some youtube videos on how to fix it (and I am assuming thats why these were returned) and it seems like something that will have to be done regularly. Maybe the refurb ones have a permanant fix??

For the price of $30, I am not going to complain. I feel like this is a more adequate replacement for the MX Revolution, than the MX Preformance.

I feel bad for those whom paid the $100 when it came out.

Using it now and working fine. No retail packaging but working the same as my new one at work. Took a chance on this one for home use.
