Help Recovering/ Transferring Game DATA to New Device

Not sure this is possible, but would REALLY appreciate any help.

My kid's Android tablet recently broke. He had a game on it (Township) that I need to transfer the data onto another device. Since this was a first tablet and first time using the internet I refused to let him use any signin or create a username for anything.

I've reached out to the game owner asking how to retrieve/ transfer town data to a new device, but that was weeks ago and haven't heard back.

I've downloaded the game onto the new device, but I need to transfer the DATA associated with it from the OLD device TO the game on the NEW device Since, a username is NOT associated with the game, simply signing in on another device will NOT retrieve almost a year's worth of work spent building his town. I'd hate to have to start all over again. Confused

I CAN use a cable to hook up the broken tablet to my laptop, but don't know IF it's possible or HOW to transfer the data. I believe the tablet is running KitKat.

I'd really appreciate any help if anyone knows how I can successfully transfer my town to another device. THANKS!

You'd probably need to find out where in the file structure the data is saved. There's no guarantee that you'll be able to transfer it, of course.

What file is it? I have attached a list of all of the files on the device:

try ES File Explorer
play that game, saved, open ES File Explorer, look at logger, select a recent file, look at it's properties for full path/location

that shit i made up won't work.

guess you already read the the FAQ says the only way to do it is through facebook, need to turn on both devices. but this way won't work for a broken one.

try this path, \Android\data\com.playrix.township
if can't find it, try search

copy whole folder to new one
