Save vs. Subscribe

Something I find maddening us that I cannot figure out a way to subscribe to threads using the Android mobile app. You can only 'save' a deal which goes into a favorites list.

Then, on the mobile version of the website, there is no way to access your lists that I can find, but you can easily subscribe to threads! These inconsistencies make using SD on mobile a huge headache.

i will leave the rest for the mobile team to reply to but fyi posting in a thread from the app will you subscribe you to it, but i'm not sure that there's a way to do so yet outside of that.

Hi - Yes we are aware of the inconsistent experience between subscribing to a thread on desktop and mobile web, vs. saving a thread to favorites in the app. We will be correcting that when we roll out our profile page in the app, coming likely towards the end of this year. Thanks for your patience!

I'm glad you are aware of it, and I'm looking forward to using the app again when saving threads becomes a universal experience across platforms!

Any updates on this? On desktop you can save, sticky and subscribe to threads. On the app you only have the option to save, which is fine, but I haven't found a way to actually view saved threads from the app. Am I missing something or has this still not been updated? I'm searching high and low for a way to find some consistency in viewing important threads across the desktop site and the mobile app.

you can subscribe to a thread on the desktop site in "thread tools" (button/link is on the top right just above the 1st post of every thread).

posting in a thread via the mobile app will also automatically subscribe you to it.
