Gah, don't like to see the price on this TV falling so quick. I got it for $1250 after my credit card price matched Adorama's last cheap price on this TV. Still under 90 days guess I can submit another claim for another $50 off.

This is totally a steal!! But, I would still buy a Samsung 65KS8500 for a couple hundred bucks more for 65" with almost OLED quality. Repped OP.

PS: The Samsung I'm referring is with the EPP discount.

Saw the 65" model in BB, it's nice, but ended up with KS8500 after BB actually let me PM it to samsung.com

gonna wait til a lot more major programming from directv is in 4k .... e.g. when i'm able to watch NBA and NFL in 4k on a somewhat regular basis .... then gonna pull the trigger once that happens. i know it'll be a while Wink but that's ok.

Purchased a used LG 49UB8500 for my desktop monitor for $500. I use a custom 3840x1440 resolution for my PC's desktop. I've been waiting to grab the updated model for my front room and this seems a great price on the 60UH8500. In for 1. Thanks OP.

will be at least 2018 before atsc sees its first 4k OTA broadcast network.. don't forget you would need a compatible tuner and or access to the streaming feed maybe over the internet or cable

Sorry for the delay, Yes. I just logged on to the perks website, click on the Samsung link and they saw the EPP price and had no problem matching. Even asked how I got the discount and was fine with it.

yah exactly the reason why i'm waiting. hard to justify a 4k tv for me at this point, b/c of lack of live broadcast content. NFL, NBA, once they're regularly broadcast in 4k, i'm jumping in. with internet speeds now (100 Mbps up/ 100 down) shouldn't be an issue feeding it through stream either ....

i don't watch enough movies to justify it .... excited for the future though!

some of the 1080p up sampling looks pretty amazing though otherwise these sets wouldn't be selling at all.. I'll jump in if the price is right..note I'm going from a small 720p to large 4k..
