The Sony X810C 4k LED TV has excellent picture quality, but it lacks more advanced features. The only major downside of this TV is the degradation of the colors when you view it from the side.

USAGE RATINGS

7.7 Mixed Usage
7.2 Movies
7.3 TV Shows
7.8 Sports
8.7 Video Games
6.6 HDR
8.4 PC Monitor

The above review is for a 55" TV which uses VA panel. The 65" TV uses IPS panel so there should be less degradation when viewing from the side

Seems like a decent TV without HDR. Native 120 Hz. The 65" appears to be IPS if that matters to you. See first comment at rtings.

HDR is such a game changer. I would have a hard time buying a TV without it now.

I mean it depends what you watch, I have a 65X930D and this 65X810c. While HDR is nice on the X930D, I use my X810C for Cable and Netflix and both serve its purpose well.

Even without the HDR on this TV, I have heard it really is one of the best 4k models.

I would probably def pull the trigger if it hit less than 1k

slightly off topic - i have a TV I bought 2 months ago set for delivery.

i obviously it seems am outside of the cancel window.

i am thinking if BestBuy would allow me to get this tv or something similar if i pay the price difference and they cancel my old order.

anyone ever been through that experience.

thanks
