FINALLY!!
SWMBO loves the tower fans and we've had two die and on on it's last legs. I've been holding out for a price drop/clearance.

Too bad this cheap stuff only lasts a few years. I can remember fans I had as a child lasting through college.

If they kept dying, I suggest getting something that will last a little longer. Smilie

if it's on clearance, we can safely assume that the febreeze cartridges won't be available, right?

The tower fans seem to be far more trouble-prone than a standard fan. But yeah, most new fans are super cheaply made. I have a Honeywell stand fan from 1998 that is on for hours each day, and it's still strong and quiet. My nightstand fan is a Duracraft that's about the same age. Garage sales are a great place to find older fans for dirt cheap.

Anyone know how loud this is? We've bought two other fans that are annoyingly loud to be used in our home office.
