Does it come with frying basket?
According to the reviews, something is wrong with the temperature.

Was cooking at my aunt's place and they had one of these... garbage. Can only fry 1-2 servings at a time or it would drastically drop in temperature and take forever to cook through. A smaller sauce pan was more efficient.

I had this fryer, don't buy it. It takes forever and a half to heat up. Uses way too much oil, not cost effective. Used it once, then threw it in the dumpster.

The FR8000 for $79 is a much better fryer, and like $20 lower than it normally is on Amazon.

However... if you need to fry a good amount of food and you want the oil temp to stay more consistan, get of of the $50 6L "commercial" fryers on Amazon or Ebay. They have absolutely no fancy features, and are generally made from thin sheet metal, but they hold the correct temp and recover quickly.

i have the Presto ProFry dual basket 5 liter model 05466 I've had it for well over a year never had a prob with it. I use it nearly every day. Sears/Kmart will have it at $39.99 often (picked it up for less with SYW points) it completely comes apart so it's very easy to clean.

just a suggestion

I agree, I ended up getting a magic fryer from Staples and love it.
