Xbox One S only supports HDR 10 Spec so do not buy any HDR TV, it might be Dolby HDR which is not supported.

So not all HDR is alike and find out what type of HDR the TV you buy has.

An armed man is a citizen. An unarmed man is a subject.

one S - so I was right - you own neither. I own both and it's definitely worth it - although his question wasn't should he buy a 4K TV it was which one to buy so your comment is still pointless.

What's your viewing distance and budget? Preferences for color accuracy over black levels, max luminance over uniformity, etc.?

Cant fit anything larget than probably a 43"

Prefer black levels over color and no real preference on second.

Yeah, crazy cheap now. I paid like $1200 for my 55" Vizio 240Hz Smart TV back in 2012.

I paid $1,100 for my 65" HD CRT RPTV in 2006.
Sold it for a hundred bucks earlier this year after I got my new LCD TV. Still didn't bother with 4k though.

DANG!!!! That's just nuts... I mean, I get it though. It's like Microwaves or VCR Players when they were new and outrageously expensive.

Patience, grasshopper?

At that distance and screen size, I'm not sure you'll notice the difference in increased resolution, but if HDR and black levels are important to you, I'm not sure you'd have many options that wouldn't include 4k.

I'll see what BB offers in that price range...
