Deal is dead, when I enter it, it says:

The promotional code you entered has already been redeemed.

Was this a single use code?

bought this kit when I first got into watch working. definitely don't recommend it. paid $17 for it and the only 2 "not crap" parts from it are the two case opening tools.

I have a love-hate relationship with Slickdeals: While I love the deals I get from this site, I really hate that I end up buying things that I never knew I needed until I found a deal on it here. This is one of those items. I never knew I needed a watch repair kit, but this is one of those items that I now need precisely because it was posted here.

The thing that they don't tell you with these kits is that you're on your own to figure out how to put the back of the watch on again.

For many watches after you successfully open the case and put in the battery, you'll be stuck taking a chance with a vise grip to re-seat the back or you're headed off to the jeweler.

Good if you only want to change the band/links on your watch. Or if you have a watch that you can put the back onto the case easily.

No they are not good quality. The only thing worth more than $1 there is a case.
