Seeing how the 950 pro 256gb is about 200 dollars this seems like a really nice price. Not sure how the performance compares... any comments?

Also this is available from Jet.com for similar price so if you have the 15% off available to you, you can get it for about ~120

Cheaper on Amazon right now @ 132 but with only one left. (not sold by amazon).

950 Pro is about 30% faster, and 960 is starting to appear which is even faster. This is great in bang for the buck, in that it'll blow past any SATA SSD, but Samsung is king of the hill if you're willing to pay for it.

you will have to change windows driver setting yourself unless Plextor release their own NVME driver like other manufactures do. otherwise, you won't even get SATA SSD speed with these...

Thanks for that. I figure for ~120 dollars (from Jet with coupon) versus the ~180 for the 950 Pro that it's worth the savings right now. They are both light years faster than a regular SATA III SSD and the price seems like a good deal.

Yep these are cool for those who can use the speed. I would like one to upgrade my video editing rig, but need at least 500gb size as my motherboard can only accommodate one of these. Hoping soon there is more competition and prices go down for these sort of pcie drives.
