Has anyone heard anything about a remastering of the 1st Assassin's Creed? It's the only one I don't have but I don't want to buy it if there's going to be a remastered one with trophy support later on.

Square Enix and Tomb Raider sale might make sense since Rise of the Tomb Raider releases on PS4 October 11.

Anyone try Slain: Back From Hell?
Looked like a metal version of Castlevania sotn with some Dark Souls, supposedly had a botched release on PC but came out patched today on Ps4.

Black Flag was a really good game. I'm not a fan of the Assassin's Creed series but I liked that game.

No matter when you do it, make sure you also get Rouge if you haven't played it. I've played all the mainstream AC games and these two are not only the best ones, but also go greatly together.

Assassin's Creed 1 was more of a test-run on their idea for a franchise.

AC1 wasn't much fun to play as soon as AC2 came out, and #2 came out quite a long time ago.

The remastered "trilogy" that is coming out later starts with #2.

#1 will not be remastered because there is no reason for anyone to play that game, and that is not a snarky response.

I wholeheartedly agree. #1 was fun at first, but got extremely repetitive very quickly. The last fight in #1 was epic though. It setup #2 nicely and the rest is history. Imho, I recommend for anyone that hasn't already beaten #1 to read a summary of the storyline and skip it.

Agreed. A perfect example of a series that started with a good idea that was poorly executed. Assassins Creed 2, on the other hand, is up in my top 5 all-time favorite games. #2 didn't even really build on what happens in #1 if I remember right, other than a few points. Even then, just youtube a re-cap of the first and that'll give you a way better experience than actually playing through the whole first game.

OT: Are the chronicle games any good on Vita? Seems like the side-scrolling setup would work well, but I haven't really looked into them at all...

Anyone try ' The Bunker ' !?!?
Some big names are associated with it but ... wasn't sold on it after seeing the trailer/clip.
Thanks!
