Bought one yesterday. Not looking to do any extreme gaming/editing. This seems like a monitor for the avg user.

For the price/size/features of the Monitor, it seems like a decent purchase.

i have a 27" 1080 screen and the resolution is noticeable

maybe my 4k spoiled my eyes, but i really don't like 1080p on anything over 23"

what's a good cheap 27" or 24" monitor to buy right now? Mostly for me office and web

Have a Dell gift card, but the prices for the refund monitor are way too much, even with the 35% code. Need one asap.

Not that this LG deal helps, but Dell will price match. I used a $100 card to price match a Dell curved 27" for $199 at Staples---"netting" $99 after the gift card (yes, I know... I claim the same for the TV I bought that included the gift card).

I just bought two of these for my wife's office. They are reasonably impressive.

Ever since I got my 1440p 27" monitor my 1080p one looks terrible. Never thought I would be a resolution snob, especially because I used a 37" 1080p monitor for like 5 years, but here we are.

Any one know if the HP 27xw is a good monitor? Newegg has the refurb on sale on eBay.

I think its a great deal, as long as it has minimal input lag and ghosting.

Max Screen Resolution 1920 x 1080 pixels

Not really a great deal (32" fullHD monitors can be found for 160~ pretty commonly). And you're gonna notice the resolution unless you regularly sit a few feet away from your monitor.

If you need the real estate for applications and productivity rather than gaming, it's probably a good buy, though.
