I've used this exact ssd in four of my builds. The speeds and writes are amazing, and the longest build I have with this drive has lasted over a year so far with no issues.

Also, if the taxes ends up killing this for you, on Amazon they have this drive for 59.99, but oddly enough no taxes for it (california), even though it is by Amazon and shipped with prime.

Good deal!

Remember, comparing to a 256GB drive, 240GB is 6% smaller, so price should be 6% less. If a good 256GB price is $60, then it is $56 for 240GB.

256gb and 240gb are the same size. 240gb just uses 16gb sectors to reallocate bad sectors from the 240gb.

Can you share where you read that? That would be cool but I am not sure if it is true or just a rumor. That is a LOT of bad sectors and a really nice function if it did exist Smilie

Can't really find anything exact but in this review states that the it has a raw nand amount of 256 but still advertised as 240. So clearly they are holding back some sectors for something.
