Gets numerous, very positive Amazon reviews. And Fakespot gives those user ratings the rare grade of "A". A historic low price per Camelx3, so nice find, OP.

While I personally would not recommend this brand if you're going to hike the AT, this seems like a helluva deal for the casual/beginning backpacker.

FYI: after zippers, the most common failure point on frame packs is the shoulder harness, specifically whatever strap you first grab when pulling the loaded pack off the ground. There's a haul loop near the top of the pack between the tops of the shoulder straps. Learn to first pick the pack up with that, bend slightly at the waist and swing it onto your back. Then slide your arms through the shoulder straps. This will significantly lengthen the service life of any pack, probably doubly so for a lower tier brand like Teton.

I have this bag from years ago. Used it for traveling and it has held up well. I would recommend it, but just one thing is that it is just over the size of a carry on so you will have to check it in, which may or may not be a pain depending on your preferences.

I got this last time it was on sale for the same price. It appears to be a good bag. Haven't field tested it yet but seems to be put together nicely. Plenty of storage and fits comfortably.
