I have this gun and have not shot it. Not looking forward to it from what I've read.

I think you should go shoot it at the range so you can get a feel for how it handles. That way you can know what to expect if you ever do NEED to use it.

WOW. It won't do you any favors if you aren't accurate with the firearm. Hope you don't plan on protecting your ass with a firearm you've never fired.

It's no range gun but it's not as bad as people say. I got the Hogue grip for it and took it off because I liked it without it and it got caught on my pocket. It's a nice grip but not for me.

Well, I don't carry in public and wanted something small form. I've got 00 buck for the intruders. I'm an avid hunter and know my way around about every type of gun so I'm pretty sure this shoots similar to those lol.

Excellent pocket carry gun, I carry this with a pocket holster daily. Fun to shoot as well.

You don't carry a gun that's really only useful for conceal carry, and you don't use it for home defense?

Why did you buy it then?

(and it's not really like any gun you'd use for hunting, so being an avid hunter doesn't really speak to having any experience with how this specific gun/caliber will shoot)

Not as enticing now that summer is coming to a close, I prefer buying from Gander Mountain who has this @ $199 every other month, too.

I've never handled this pistol and I'm not a fan of the caliber by any means but you cant argue when it's less than half the weight of my Shield 9. .380 hollows are "good enough", 10 yard engagement fits into most self-defense range anyway so to me it's a fine hot summer day carry or ultra concealment/backup.

Like others have said, the Custom is a bit more cash but offers a lot in the way of improved trigger and sights.

Got this years ago with the crimson trace,

good little gun for CCW,

Now that I've got something easy to slip into my pocket, I carry more.

Highly suggest you put a hundred rounds through it to break it in and to get used to it.

I like the +1 mag from ruger, doesn't effect size much and is easier to hold.

Have a great, non printing holster, and a cargo pants holster that also carries extra mag.

I don't mind the long trigger pull, it is the 'safety'

I do wish it locked the slide back when empty though.

If I were getting one now, I'd get it without the laser, and with the red trigger (upgrades)

but deal for $200

It doesn't need to be too accurate, It's more of a "get off me" gun.

I have both, the custom isn't better and the tall sights get caught on everything.
