Missing band 5 for AT&T, which is a very important band according to this post: https://forums.att.com/t5/Network...-p/4810848

BLU why do you release a half-baked product that missing a key LTE band?

Just took a peek at your posting history. Do you ever do ANYTHING other than threadcrap lol?

However sad the products you criticize may or may not be, what's sadder still is that you rarely have anything to contribute to this site but diss other people's contributions. Even the 4 thread s you 've posted are all collectively rated -16, not a single one with a positive rating. Talk about lame ...
What are the LTE bands on this device - looks like (2/4/7/12/17), so missing band 5 and 30 for AT&T... According to this post band 5 is a big deal... so this may be a pass for use on AT&T / Cricket - https://forums.att.com/t5/Network...-p/4810848

It's frustrating that critical information like LTE bands are not made readily available for a lot of devices, as that impacts the cellular compatibility. Reviewers should focus on this key aspect instead of going on and on about how nice it feels in the hands... fools.
Is it just me or does it look like the OnePlus 3?

This is not really a mid-range device other than the physical build. The Snapdragon SoC is higher-lower end. The LTE modem is meh, but the GPU should be a nice boost over other lower end chips.

Hmm...a good feature set, but the Snapdragon 430 processor is a bit disappointing.

Don't expect any updates to this or other Blu phones. I bought a Blu life one X earlier this year and its still on 5.1.1.

Given that the 617 inside the Moto G4 seems to have performance issues with overheating them using the S430 might be a smart move.

Moto G4 is a poor phone without dual-SIM.
BLU has dual-SIM and come with the case, hope it is be a Amazon version to kick out another $100
