Ruby Tuesday is offering 6 different specialty burgers -- 1 each week for 6 weeks with endless fries for $6.99. That's around $5-6 off what one of their normal burger baskets would be with comparable toppings (plus the free refills on fries).

Five of their previously-existing half-pound burger baskets will also be offered with endless fries for the same $6.99 price throughout this promotion (ending October 30) -- Classic Burger, Classic Cheeseburger, Bacon Cheeseburger, Smokehouse Burger, and Avocado Turkey Burger.

Incidentally, their Triple Prime burgers are only $2 more ($8.99 during this promotion). Nice deal.

No sign-up necessary (but if you join their SoConnected eClub, you'll also get a free burger up to $10 on your birthday, with no purchase necessary).

I'm guessing they won't have any problem if you want to slightly change some of the toppings (e.g., omit the swiss cheese, put the onion rings on the side, etc.).

I didnt know about the weekly specialty burgers. I like their burgers more than most places. They are big. I usually sub onion rings for free, but not sure about this deal.

They might allow subbing one order of onion rings, but probably not "endless".

By the time I finish the half-pound burger and most of the fries, I'm always done. I don't imagine I'll be asking for any refills, unless the first serving of fries is smaller than usual.

Wish I'd seen/noticed this earlier. Not interested in the BBQ burger "next week" but wouldn't have minded that empire melt. The store's not that close to me so not worth rushing out right now...oh well. I'll be prepared for future weeks. Rep'd.

They'll have their regular Classic Cheeseburger, Bacon Cheeseburger, and Smokehouse Burger (w/ New York cheddar), as well as their Classic Burger, for $6.99 throughout this promotion.

Some locations or servers might even let you still order the Empire Melt after today, since they'll still have all of the cheeses. Worth asking.

BTW, their Triple Prime burgers are only $2 more during this promotion ($8.99).

Week #2 starts today (9/26) through Sunday, October 2 -- KC 'Cue Burger
Attachment 4581727
8oz beef patty with pulled pork, BBQ sauce, melted American cheese, and two fried onion rings

I have no doubt that they won't mind if you ask to omit or substitute any of the toppings.

See post #1 for details.

I had the KC 'Cue Burger today. Skipped the onion rings and sub'd cheddar for American cheese. Very good. Licklips

Hot tip: Ask for extra napkins beforehand.

There was a new multi-fold card on the tables that mentioned the Burger Roadshow $6.99 deal, but it only had pictures of the 5 previously-available burgers, and said to ask your server about the new weekly specialty burgers. There was no other insert in the normal menu, so someone who didn't know about these beforehand could have completely overlooked the other card until after they had ordered something else.

I initially asked the server if I could still order last week's Empire Melt, and she said no problem. I got the impression they may even be able to make future weeks' specialty burgers any time during the 6 week run. So if you just can't wait to try the Lone Star Chili burger or still want one of the previous weeks', it wouldn't hurt to ask.

Their triple prime burgers have always been one of the best around. I'll go there for dinner tomorrow night. Thanks OP Smilie

Yes.

From RT's Burger Roadshow promotion page [rubytuesday.com]:
"Offer Valid only for Dine-In and TueGo!, only at participating locations. Excludes Guam, Hawaii, Manhattan, airport, and international locations."
It will be a bit difficult to get the endless fries if you drive away, though. Wink

I wonder if those excluded locations still offer the specialty burgers, just not at the $6.99 price.

Sign-up for their eClub with different birthdays on your junk e-mail addresses.

They send a coupon for a Free Birthday Burger ($10.00 value) and it can be used with Ruby To-Go.

The coupon doesn't mention anything about it being for a birthday. In fact, they actually send targeted coupons for Free Burgers periodically just to get you to come in since they are struggling. Last year, I'm pretty sure they were open on Thanksgiving and Christmas....

One of my friends worked there as a server. Corporate told no one that they were going out of business until like a week beforehand. In fact, they still had "Help Wanted" signs looking for new employees up until management informed everyone they were either being laid off or they could transfer to a store like 20 miles away.

I forgot to mention -- on that last visit, my receipt had a survey that provided either a free appetizer or dessert, good for 4 weeks. I'll be getting the dessert to go -- no room for it after eating the burger.

Yeah but if you dine in you have to factor in tip and drink, probaly an additional $6-$8 EEK!.Would be alot cheaper to get it to go.
