A: No, they coexist. Beauty enthusiast points are an added perk for Balance(R) Rewards members, but do not replace nor negate other Balance Rewards offers. So you'll still earn everyday points (10 points per $1 spent on almost everything every day), bonus points on featured products each week as well as any other Balance Rewards offer.

Moving this to here:

Not sure if this should be posted here or not.

I bought 3 Crest twin pk. TB @ $5.99 = $17.97 - $1IVC($3) = $14.97 + $1.26 tx.= $16.23
I used $6 in qs + 10K pts. Pd $.23. Received $10RR.
My Beauty spending was $4.97.
$17.97 - $3IVC - 10K pts. = $4.97

So, looks like tracking is after points and Wags coupons but before mfr coupons. The catch being that if you use points to cover tax, then the mfr coupon that is tracking will lower.

I am wondering if mfr sponsored RRs will act as mfr coupons and we will get tracking.

I signed up today and then bought almay and other face wash and crest mouthwash. Used points and 1 RR. Value of products minus IVCs counted toward beauty club. RR did not affect.

You need to get your Balance Rewards card before you buy anything. They have them at the registers.

How to get this deal if you are new to Walgreens:

Step 1.
Follow to create free online account: link [walgreens.com]
Choose to sign up for basic account or one with RX access.

This will create online account for accessing WAG site, enroll you in Balance Rewards Points program and issue a new e-card # for Bal. Rewards.

Step 2.
Once logged into your new account, look under PAPERLESS COUPONS section for special EVERYDAY POINTS coupon and add it to your account:
"10 points per $1 on almost the entire store -- every day --
Multibrand Valid online or In store -- Never Expires"

This coupon will give you tiny amount of points on almost everything.

Step 3.
Follow link in OP of this thread or here [walgreens.com] to sign up for BEAUTY CLUB

This will give you 5000 points for every $50 in beauty.

Step 4.
If you wish to receive plastic membership cards (1 large and 2 keychain size), ask any cashier to "Please add a plastic card to my account".

Keep in mind that doing this will CHANGE # on your BALANCE REWARDS account from the one issued online to new one, as shown on plastic card. Also, your "enroll date" will change and you will lose any earned-to-date account seniority privileges (targeted personalized $/$$ offers).

If you do want to get plastic cards, I suggest to do it very shortly after creating online account.

Step 5.
If you have multiple people in your household/family, consider repeating steps 1 - 4 for all of them.
Most of your future targeted offers will be limited to 1 or 3 uses per account.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

My cashier and AM both were surprised that things were already tracking, let alone that customers were signed in & up. They were told that the employees could sign up now and that there would be some sort of inauguration on the first. They were glad that the receipt actually looked like the training picture.

Clearance beauty items counted.

I've been out of Wags for a long time. I had an online account before, but now apparently it has been locked for inactivity. I have called CS twice trying to get it unlocked. They say they are sending me an email to reset my password which will let me get back in, but the email never arrives. The second guy I talked to said he tried sending it mulitple times.

Has anyone else run into this and has any suggestions how I can get back in?

My suggestion would be to request them to close that account and then create another one with a new email id. I think it will be easier for them too.
