don't care for resolution. what matters is PPI. Usually higher res = higher ppi.

Why don't most monitor INCLUDE speakers built in???? tiny macbook have awesome speakers! most laptop and tvs have decent speakers now. Pls include them in monitors too!

Please do not ever include speakers in monitors. They are always garbage and just add unnecessary cost. I prefer to use my desktop studio monitors.

I couldn't find any info on the panel used. Here's a $200 32" 1080p monitor from LG that's definitely IPS: https://www.amazon.com/LG-32MA68H...B01IA9FXAO

As far as the resolution goes, it depends on your usage and viewing distance. I've used a 32" 1080p TV as my monitor for the past 4 years. I sit about 3' away and use it 95% for gaming and movies. It's great for my purposes, but it wouldn't be great for someone using it for mostly office work.

Res and size is what gives you PPI, so what he said is perfectly valid....

Be careful, under description it says "Featuring an ultra-slim and sleek profile the Samsung SF350 monitor measures less than 0.4inch thick. Make a stylish statement while staying productive with the 22" screen. The simple circular stand will add a modern look to your space."

All reviews are also for 22 inches...

How does the size come in play? 1080p 19inch monitor has over 200 ppi while my 1080p HDTV has less than 80PPI.

I wish TVs would have same amount of PPI as smart phones, I know ppl are going to say u don't need it from that distance but I can notice a difference. I guess I gotta wait for 8k HDTV for 200ppi.

that's because they put crappy ones in it. If companies put in same speakers as their laptop and tvs, I would have no problems with it. You can still use ur own speakers if u wish

I prefer IPS panel below 42inches. Anything over 42 I prefer VA cus IPS gives me major headache at that screen size

I use a 32" 1080p TV as a computer monitor primarily for office work and it has been great for me.
