I usually don't like posting these deals because so many people have differing opinions on brands. But here goes. We needed to replace out 17 year old GE range. All appliances are white, so, we are stuck there. During my search, I came across this stainless Whirlpool model at best buy:

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/whirl...cat0904003 -- Expired Now $599 (Was $540) at posting time

Model WFG540H0ES
5.8 cu. ft. oven capacity

Along with 2 racks and 7 rack positions makes it easy to prepare large meals for your friends and family members. An adjustable Max Capacity rack secures items and makes room for large items.
Edge-to-edge cooking grates

Allow you to easily slide cookware from burner to burner. The locking, full-width porcelain-coated grates are dishwasher-safe to simplify cleanup.
5 burners

Include a 5,000 BTU right-rear AccuSimmer burner, an 8,000 BTU center-rear multipurpose burner, a 9,500 BTU left-rear multipurpose burner, a 15,000 BTU right-front high-output burner and a 17,000 BTU left-front SpeedHeat burner.
SpeedHeat burner

Enables rapid searing and boiling. An AccuSimmer burner provides controlled heat for melting chocolate and simmering sauces.
AccuBake temperature management system

Uses a built-in sensor to monitor the oven temperature and control the cooking elements for consistent results.
Fan convection cooking

Fills the entire oven with heat, so you can prepare food using any rack.
Storage drawer

Provides a convenient place to stow baking racks and cookie sheets.
AquaLift self-clean technology

Uses water and low levels of heat to remove baked-on foods from the bottom of the oven in as little as 50 minutes.
Analog controls

Make operation simple. A control lock helps prevent unsupervised use.

Everywhere I saw has it for $899. So, looks like a good deal IMHO.

I ended up ordering this white one from the Whirlpool outlet for $625 using code SIGNUP10 for an additional 10% off.

OP - I see you noted $540. deal at Bestbuy (WFG540H0ES) is expired, and now its $599.00. Was the $540.00 deal a one off special?
Even at $599.00, this seems cheaper than most box store price. Anyone have an opinion on this model? I'm looking for a standlone gas range for a family member.

Just a warning, a lot of gas ranges with convection ovens use both a gas line and a 240V line. Most houses have one or the other. It is pretty likely if you buy one of these you will have to pay someone to install the other type of line.

Good advice if looking at dual fuel ranges, but these are both 120v outlets.

which coupon?
Lowes has it for $700...if using the 10%, it would be $630.

Thinking of purchasing this, missed it at $640

Not true unless you got up to specific dual fuel models. Always double check before buying though to be sure.

If you wait about or month or so, both HD and Lowes will have their semi-annual appliance sale. I got this http://www.lowes.com/pd/LG-Smooth...n/50034856 last year for $749. Great range and very happy with it.
