It all depend on the manager on duty.. Some store would do it to take care of customer other will tell you the policy. Its YMMV.

Staples Corp strategy:
1. Kill $25/$75 and $10/$50 distribution-- check
2. Burn down paper forts and push out sders- work in progress
3. Sell overpriced ink and paper to clueless regular price average joes- watch our margins rise

As much as that appears to be their strategy, can't believe there are enough SDers making a profit on paper to raise their margins by this strategy when their revenue overall is failing to increase.

I should clarify margin rate as opposed to $...You're prob right- sd impact is prob barely noticeable but when you're current strategies don't work sometimes an small uptick on a long range forecast can make for a bright light..

Due to the paper deals every week... All buyers are now greedy on CL. They ask for $15 a box deal or no deal.

How can you say this when just yesterday they sold nearly 2 1/2 cases for $4.04?

On a more important note,
1) Do you think the 25% off K-cups will be in addition to the special in-store pricing on 3-or more boxes?

2) Will someone please remind me how to find the 24-packs online? I never could make a search show them and now Staples is showing me a search filter for pack size and 24 isn't an option. Is it just me still or are the 24 packs gone?

Many don't buy paper unless it is a MM or free after coupons-- now that staples has made an effort to stop issuing coupons these deals won't be as attractive going forward...

You're lucky-- On CL around me they ask for $10 a case. They even want to me to drive somewhere for that price as well....Maybe I should throw in an oil change and tire rotation as well?

lol, I hear ya. One guys who picked up the paper said there was one lady in my area who will sell paper for $12 a case. The reason he doesn't buy that paper because her cases were semi damaged. Not sure how a box of paper is semi damaged? . He is willing to pay more money to have good crisp paper.

Last week, the 1st questions was do you deliver. I said no and the lady hang up on me.

Anyone actually tried the HM case coupon from Staples website? Appears it should take $12 off which is one of the biggest amounts ever for an advertised coupon. Trying to determine if this was a mistake or if it really works.
