Indy obviously doesn't know how to play the Dell game. Dell price matches. Almost everyone overlooks this for some reason.

Retailer websites Dell will match for pricing on PCs, electronics & accessories:
• Amazon.com
• Apple.com
• BestBuy.com
• BHphotovideo.com
• HP.com
• Frys.com
• Lenovo.com
• Microcenter.com
• Newegg.com
• OfficeDepot.com
• OfficeMax.com
• Sears.com
• Staples.com
• Target.com
• TigerDirect.com
• Walmart.com

The one thing that actually holds me back from making more purchases at Dell is their god awful customer support.
Dell CS is shit. Pray nothing goes wrong.
It says you are an expert level SD'er, haven't you seen the FP deals from Dell quite often? Dell always offers a GC on the price you would pay outside anyway.
There are so many deals coming these next few months before and after Thanksgiving that I would be shocked if you didn't use this GF by then.
You have 90 days from October thru December, which is like the prime time to buy all sorts of things.
Granted Dell GC is not like Amazon, but still Dell has been very good with deals the last 1-2 years, especially on video games, TV's, sound bars, printers and monitors. And that doesn't even include the outlet prices for laptops, which can be amazing sometimes.

To each their own, but I LOVE dell's TV deals with GC!!!

plenty of overpriced stuff, sure... couple that with the short time period to use the GCs and it's a crap combination.

Can't stand dumb complaining comments like this.. if you don't have a better deal, stfu.

I'll spell it out for you.. buy something from Dell with the gc, sell it for 90% of its cost. You're welcome.

Use your brain, you wait til there's another Dell slickdeal and use the gc on it, then sell it

This is what I do, but you need to consider that selling (often) expensive electronics can be intimidating to a lot of people.

I got this deal last time around. They shipped the tv to us via Pilot Freight, who of course cracked the tv. Dell sent a new one a week later and everything was fine. The tv is very nice, has an awesome picture, and good contrast, but it's not full HDR and its refresh rate is actually 60Hz and does some sorcery to make it 120Hz. I can't find any 4k/HDR content to view anyway, but the upscale HD works great.

I used the gift card to get a new Sony stereo receiver (was only $6 more than what Amazon was selling it for) and got a low end Dell Inspiron laptop for one of my kids who won't know any better. Definitely happy with everything. Also the recent Dell / EMC merger seems to have helped Dell's customer service quite a bit.
