Deal Details

  • GeForce GTX 960M 2 GB
  • Quad Core Intel Core i5 6300HQ (2.30 GHz)
  • 8 GB DDR4 Memory 1 TB HDD
  • 15.6" Full HD 1920 x 1080
  • 15.04" x 10.04" x 0.63"-1.28" 5.95 lbs.
  • DVD Super Multi
From what I've read, it has an IPS screen. It uses a HDD, but its a 7200 RPM one. There isn't much on this laptop on the internet. I wonder if its just a model for Newegg?

Decent price at $689 - now $699

if only i could find more info on it. the specs arent that great for this price but if that screen has decent color accuracy, i would be on this. sadly, i wont take the chance

Well not sure if you can really find anything better for under 700 as of right now. This would be a insta-buy if it was the i7 6500HQ for me.

nice laptop... wish it were SSD, but 7200 RPM Drive not too much of a drawback.

I'm almost willing to bite... really decent deal.

Looks like they've sweetened the deal. $10 more and you get a 128GB SSD boot drive.

The one you linked is Aluminum, the one TCB82 linked is the plastic one (and has many other differences as well).

Lol. I actually thought you posted a product page.

There was a recent HP pavilion with same specs as this, except stereo speakers, IPS full HD matte display, no DVD drive (huge plus for me), metal housing, 256 GB PCIE SSD, backlit keyboard and GTX 960M w/ 4GB DDR5 memory for about $660.

Also note that the op's one is a 6 cell battery and the one you posted has a 4 cell which makes it slightly lighter. Other than that seems the same. Yours also has 38 reviews 3/5 eggs average. Mixed complaints but many seem to be about the screen quality and crashing issues
