This bundle is a nice deal compared to current online prices if you were to buy the earphones and amp individually. Per iconian: This is new model of e12 amp, designed specifically for low impedance earphones. -Corwin

I nearly pulled the trigger on these but reading Amazon reviews a lot of people complain about connection issues after the first few months. Nearly 30% of people gave these 1-2 stars. They say the sound is amazing but the connection issues make them not worth it. Otherwise, this would be a very SD indeed.

I have had a pair for a couple of years and did have a connectivity issue at times. I purchased a tube of DeoxITGOLD [https://www.amazon.com/gp/product...TF8&psc=1] and have not had a problem since.

These are incredible headphones with 4 speakers in each ear piece. The best aspect of this deal is adding the amplifier because most phones and MP3 players don't have the power to get the best sound.

If I did not already have a pair and an amp, I would be all over this deal.

Can you explain how you use that? TBH I thought this meant that the cable was separating from the earpiece (or something similar). Maybe I misunderstood the problem. How did you apply this stuff? Seriously, I had my finger on the trigger!

You do not need an amp for IEM's.

It appears that the problem was related to oxidation of the connectors and not separation. Mine worked fine, started to act up a bit when I moved, and then worked fine after I applied this to both sides of the connectors. They have worked flawlessly ever since, in fact I am using them as I type this.

Says who? That's like saying high end speakers don't require a stronger amp than cheap ones. If you think the specs of Apple earbuds are the same as these, you are wrong.

They may not be required, but the sound is much better with them.
