I noticed today that Target.Com had the iPad Air 2, Wi-Fi, 128GB, silver only listed for $299.98. It showed as out of stock online and in store. However, stock at my local Target is often different than what it says online. I figured it was a long-shot, but I went in. They had one in stock, and they price-matched the Target.Com price of $299.98. Good luck.

Impossible to link directly to item with the way the Target website works. You have to go to Target.com page for iPad Air 2 and then input options for 128gb, silver. Go here to start. [target.com]

Same situation with the Target app.

I do not think Brickseek or Target.com store inventory information is useful in this situation. You actually need to visit a store. For my store, all indications showed no stock. However they DID have one. This isn't the first time I've run into this.

I think it's been at this price for a while now. It's just out of stock almost everywhere

I was surprised this worked out today. But if you're nearby a store anyway, it can't hurt to check. No shenanigans here. This is just Target honoring their own advertised price if you can find stock. Apparently, there's still some out there. This isn't the first time that Target.Com said my local store had no stock when it actually did.

In this situation you may actually need to visit a store in person. You could call and ask, but you risk tipping off an employee who might buy it first. For my store, all indications online showed no stock. However they DID have one. This isn't the first time I've run into this.

Thanks. Nothing anywhere near me. Stores that have it might just have been returns.

Yeah, if it's a return, it might not be in the system.

Best Buy will NEVER price match clearance and out of stock items and usually never price match Target.

From their website
Any financing offers, bundle offers, free items, pricing errors, mail-in offers, coupon offers, items that are advertised as limited quantity, out of stock items, clearance items, open-box items, refurbished items, pre-owned items, credit card offers, gift card offers, rent/lease to own items, Point of Sale Activation cards, video game discounts related to a membership program, and items for sale Thanksgiving Day through the Monday after Thanksgiving, whether offered by Best Buy or a competitor.

if people all stuck to their policies like that, SD would not exist.

Is the iPad Air 2 worth getting at all? It's basically iPhone 6 internals, right?
