I'm not sure the etiquette for posting miles/points related deals, so mods feel free to remove if I'm doing this wrong.

You can the Chase [chase.com] UR gateway (go to Ultimate Rewards, then earn points, then shopping) to get 2x UR on all purchases from Newegg.com [newegg.com] with your Chase Sapphire Preferred.

I only have CSP for now; can anyone confirm CSR is also 2x and not 3x?

Other deals:

2X at
Staples.com
Apple.com
HomeDepot.com
OfficeDepot.com

3x at
Lowes.com
Sears.com
QVC.com

4x at
Groupon.com

5x at
Saks.com (Saks 5th Ave.)

8x at
JCPenny.com

It may be possible to have points added retroactively for purchases, and I will try at lunch or tonight.

Prepare to be flogged, OP, for suggesting you start your online shopping journey though any other gateway than SD.Chairbash

In my experience (~10 purchases), Show Through Chase has been a waste of time. I've never had my points credited automatically. Every time, I have to call up support to ask them about it. Most of the time, they've told me my purchase didn't qualify for the extra points because the items I bought were on sale. There were a couple times where the item did qualify for the bonus points, but I had to keep following up with them in order to get them to add the points to my account. Kinda not worth the hassle.

Using the UR gateway/portal?

There's nothing in the cardmember agreement saying that newegg purchases will get bonus points, so I assume you have to use the UR Portal.

I made a purchase through Chase at Walmart for one of the Xbox One S deals and was awarded the standard 1%, plus the bonus 2% for using the Chase gateway. Showed in my history once the charge was pending on my card.

The bonus points show up differently in my point list, so it doesn't show the standard bonus next to the transactions like the normal 5% quarterly bonuses do.

Well, it was extra 2% for me like from the beginning of the year. For Newegg that is. Though if you use coupons, combo deals, added gifts or anything like that - points are not added. For regular simple items it works fine.

What might be a bit better would be to buy Newegg GC + Premier membership from groupon.

https://www.groupon.com/deals/newegg-2-national

Chase offers 4 points/dollar at Groupon plus you get the free shipping membership included.

this a joke right? been using chase portal to shop forever to get any little extra bonus points. Newegg is pretty low yes only about 2% more cash back. my favorite combination is getting Groupon with local promo codes and an additional 4% back through chase

Most people value UR points at at least 1.5 cents per point assuming you have a CSR/CSP/Ink+ to transfer them for sga/united/sw/etc points.

Semi Off topic but when buying from Amazon would it be smarter to use discover for 5% or chase freedom unlimited 1.5% then transfer to csp?

Since you can transfer discover cb to bank its better than csp, yes?

I think UR usually valued at 1:1.

But you get a 1:1.5 redemption rate if you have CSR; 1:1.25 for CSP
