Any expectation for a lower price anywhere before the release (more interested in Deluxe version)?

Not probably. Just check some Russian websites regularly. It may come in the future.

I'm guessing there's not much chance finding an Anniversary Edition at this point? If not, I'll likely go in for the Deluxe.

I would bet if you are willing to wait until black friday there will prob be some deals. In the past civ games seem to get discounted fairly quickly. I regretted buying civ5 right when it came out because it dropped so fast.

I doubt I will play civ 6 over civ 5, unless the graphics get better. It just looks so much more cartoony then civ 5.

In the end, if the gameplay is better, for a game like Civ, does it matter?

Everyone I've heard playing it say it's a style thing rather than a "better graphics" thing. I wasn't much enamored of it at first, but it's grown on me. But over and above that, they've done so many nice things with the game itself, I'm literally chomping at the bit to move forward from V. I just hope that their enhanced mod support includes MP.

I bought at this price from GMG when they sent me a personal coupon earlier. I've only seen it better once, way back when it was announced there was a 25% @ GMG. I skipped it then hoping for other deals, but haven't seen one. So this is the best, and you want to pre-order for Aztecs, so ...

Well I preordered, the first looks seem good. I normally don't preorder games but this is a really good deal, and I've owned every Civ game up to this point, so I picked up the Deluxe. Thanks for the find.

After Civ Beyond Earth, I'm just going to wait until it drops to $20 on Steam.

If you have Gamer Club at Best buy, just buy it there and price match later if price drop. Just couple bucks more

Is there any great advancement in Civ VI over Civ V? I loved the series, but I was disappointed with the (lack of) changes from IV to V. If not much difference, I may wait until the game hits the sub-$20 mark.

Did you play any of the DLCs? There was a huge amount of content added.

Anyway, yes, pretty much every pre-release review of this game says it's amazing, so I think it's fairly safe to pre-order.
