We have these already and they are professional powerful. Maybe not a giveaway but I don't recall ever seeing them this low. For SYWR members some accounts are giving $10 in surprise points back which I received.

Actually not true.

OP refers to the professional series. 700+ ft lbs. max torque.

Plus you can use SYW points and coupons at Sears. Oh and that warranty.

What good will the warranty be when Sears goes kaput in a few years?

This Craftsman impact would be a good deal if you had a bunch of SYW points in your account, but for $110 it's not a great deal.

The Harbor Freight Earthquake impacts frequently go on sale for $70 and are also rated at 700 ft-lbs. They are very well-reviewed, even on tool forums like Garage Journal.

Does anyone know who actually manufactures this item for Craftsman/SHC?

If the quality of Harbor Freights impact wrenches are as bad as their socket sets as compared to Craftsman, that will answer that. On their 3/4 socket sets, the metal is so soft the sockets "smear" and the craftsman never did.

They are not. Price for price their impact are rated very high. I reach for my eartquake before my snap-on because very seldom does it not do the job, and if it breaks it was only 100 bucks. There are very few items that HF are good for but their impacts and engines are great.
