So the additional 4% is calculated after the initial markdown, rather than just stacked on top of it? That's good to know.

Is this legit? How long does it take to get the gift card?

Very legit; I've spent thousands with them over the last couple of years. Problems are rare, but they do happen. Raise has a 100 day guarantee though, and typically takes care of issues quickly.

Delivery depends...if you choose a mailed card, that will take a week or so. Electronic cards usually show up immediately, but can take up to 24 hours.

If you have never used raise before, you may have to verify your account first, though I really don't recall that process...it's been a long time since I had to do it (and I *think* I had to do it after my second or third order, not with the first one). There was a phone call involved, but it was pretty quick and painless iirc.

I went to use one of my cards today and it showed 0 balance. I called the store's customer service and they said the card was canceled due to credit card fraud. I called Raise and they quickly agreed to refund the balance. Good customer service, but now I wonder what percentage of cards on there are tainted...
