I'd like to know what people think about this router. I need to upgrade.

Is this a retweaked deal from about a month ago? I believe the drive was bundled with the Linksys WRT1900AC previously.

Seems like just this might be better:

Unless you really want the drive.

I guess it depends if you want a refurb or not for $149.

Works great but there are no MIMO devices in use in my house at the time. I have ordered the iPhone 6s and it is a MIMO device. A little expensive router but great coverage and I'm set for at the new mimo devices that come out.

I had this a while back. Suffers from bad firmware here and there, I ended up selling it to amazon and got the netgear x4s.

Anyone have 1st hand experience with this router? Tomsguide says it underperforms and Amazon reviews are mixed..... looking to use it as an AP (don't have MIMO devices). Looks like Netgear EX7000 has better range/throughput at range.

I would pass and get a higher end netgear.

Would it work with Time Warner? Do not see in their list of supported routers.
