First post so please be kind Smilie

Amazon has a few treadmills on sale. All the above are the lowest or very close to the lowest price as per camelcamelcamel.

Yowza Osprey - $544 (Expired)
Osprey based on my research have been $799 before but never less than that.
It has a 2.75 HP motor with a 1" Deck. Much better than the Pro-forms at this price or even higher. Best warranty for treadmills I researched (under $1000). Only issue I see is the 20"x52" belt which may not work for people above 6 feet.

https://www.amazon.com/Yowza-Fitn...B006CMGGFI - price increased

Lifespan TR1200i - $597
Lowest price as per camelcamelcamel

https://www.amazon.com/LifeSpan-F...0030EW7Q8/ - price increased

Lifespan TR3000i - $872

https://www.amazon.com/LifeSpan-F...002FJZLJY/

I tried to add some pics but it is getting messed up.

Thoughts on the treadmill deals from the experts? Need something that can last more than 2-3 years. Will be used 3-5 times a week by my family who run about 8 min miles.

That's definitely a walking treadmill for most people...the ones posted are likely better for jogging or running.

If you're a walker though, the Weslo or the cheapo Sunny treadmill at Amazon are probably good deals.

I bought the TR3000i 14 months ago from Amazon, when it was on sale for $999. Still going strong, very sturdy and heavy, solidly built. I use it for running approx 3-4 miles 4 times per week.

So people who have these at home use these for more then clothes hangers? Just opened a whole new world to me. Normally craigslist has a lot of workout equipment for cheap, just be smart about it.

I've been running on my Reebok from Costco for years and years. Trained for my marathon on it, running up to 13 miles a time on it. I was at about 8:30 pace and ran at 3 incline. Holding up strong but the bolts on the bed need tightening every other run. I think its end is near, but it has thousands of miles on it.

Better off getting a spin bike. Treadmill takes up more space, is too loud and uses electricity.

I purchased the TR1200i back in August for . Been a great treadmill so far. I run 3 miles a day 5 days a week on it using the preset programs. My wife walks 30 mins per day. For the small price difference I would probably upgrade to the 3000 for the slightly larger motor, but have no complaints about my model. Prior to owning this one we had a proform, the Lifespan is much better quality.

if you have the ability to move one of these (mini van, pick up truck with some muscle) then CL is the way to go. So many people buy these and they become clothes hangers, so 50% off or more is easily obtainable.

forget being 6 feet, if you run fast and are just 5'6 with a 1.4 meter stride at full speed, it will be longer than a 52 inch platform and 99% of the length of a 56 inch platform

Lifespan TR1200i Treadmill Review
Treadmill Doctor Note :
Arguably one of the best $1,000 treadmills made! You can do much worse and for those you want better service than Icon, this is a good choice.
