Your statement here betrays a troubling misunderstanding of basic nutrition. A gram of fat has 9 calories regardless of its source. It makes literally zero sense to say that coconut oil is high in calories *compared to* avocado oil or any other oil. Please do some more reading before posting misinformation.
For anyone interested, we've found the Spectrum coconut oil to be fairly gritty. It's totally fine for cooking because the oil melts before you notice it, but we have used coconut oil for massage and making skin products. If that's your intended usage, I'd go with a different brand to avoid exfoliation until the gritty bits melt. We found Vita Coco organic cold-pressed oil, and it's super smooth. So much better for our needs.

I put a healthy scoop of this in my chili and soups. Good anti-fungal property's and if you have yeast overgrowth it can help

Good deal and good stuff.

I had to stop using 4 months ago, seemed to cause stomach discomfort occasionally. I am rebuilding good flora in gut after bout of antibiotics and I think the coconut oil is killing anit fungal and all other bacteria down there hurting me

Nevertheless, this is a great deal

You can get a similar product at Sam's and Costco for about the same price, if you have either membership.

coconut oil is healthy oil but high in calories, so you are better off with
Avocado oil or EVOO for around the same price per ounce as this stuff.

edit - thanks to all for the re-education,
but it's still a disproportionately high source of saturated fat
when compared to those other two healthy oil choices.
bottom line for me is; coconut & avocado may be fun to try,
but old fashion EVOO is till the best frugal oil choice around.

Also think this is a gritty oil, can't explain it better than that, although there is no actual "grit."
What I buy at Sam's or Costco, for the same price, tastes better and feels better on my face/body.
I'll try to edit with the brand when I figure it out.
